KINESIOLOGY / S&C
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

"I recently finished the internship program offered at Khaos, and am extremely grateful for my time spent there. There’s a real sense of community amongst the coaches and athletes alike, with a very welcoming atmosphere. I was able to gain invaluable hands on experience in the realm of strength and conditioning, as well as lots of useful knowledge that I’ll be able to apply to my kinesiology degree. Kyle is a great coach not only to his clients but also to other aspiring coaches like myself, and it is clear that he and the other staff at Khaos are devoted to seeing their clients reach their full potential." "I began this internship program to improve the quality of sport/fitness practitioners in the field.  I truly believe that education needs practical application for true competency and understanding. The field of Strength & Conditioning and general health and fitness is unbelievably unregulated. The field is in an unfortunate state; more fitness facilities and training programs are popping up from people with a lack of performance based education, practical experience, and the ability to coach well. The industry is becoming over saturated and undervalued. I want to guide and customize practical application, lesson plans & mentorship specific to the needs of the intern.

Interns in this program are expected to have a good foundational understanding and passion in anatomy, exercise physiology, biomechanics, sport psychology, and youth coaching. We have had great success with students who have come in prepared, professional, driven and engaged. This internship program is for students who want to become professionals in the field, or people who want to understand Strength & Conditioning while pursuing other fields in sport performance/health."
